We will connect you with a much better teacher than you will likely find on your own or through another company.  We have mastered our screening process to the point where B&B teachers perform way above the average with regard to punctuality, teaching ability and working well with children. B&B Music Lessons owners, Brad Clements and Bhagwan Khalsa, are professional musicians so they know how to spot great teachers who also work well with kids.  In fact, Bhagwan and Brad personally interview each and every teacher. Only a handful of applicants are hired each year.  Once we’re excited about a new teacher we run a national background check just to make sure it’s clear.

2. B&B Music Lessons teachers perform an evaluation of every student on a regularly recurring basis.  You will enjoy feedback on your child’s progress throughout the year.  The evaluations were designed by Bhagwan and Brad to track student’s progress of music fundamentals. Each evaluation will be archived on your very own secure web page for your reference.  Over time you will be able to follow, in detail, the progress that’s been made and also expose areas where improvement is needed.

3.  We hold our student recital twice per year at the beautiful Strathmore Mansion in Rockville, MD.  Our recitals are very organized, unlike the recitals of other companies, so that each family needn’t spend more than one hour there.  We’ve learned that student recitals are best when they are low pressure, fun, well attended and brief.  We’ve never met a family that wants to sit through a 3 hour recital on a Sunday afternoon! We promise that you’ll never be at one of our recitals for more than one hour.

4. Billing: Almost all other lesson services charge in advance for each month’s lessons and require that you sign a contract. We do NOT charge in advance. In fact we bill you at the end of each month. We charge your credit card after you’ve had 3 days to review your invoice. We want you to know exactly what you’re paying for before you pay. And you will NOT be asked to sign a contract.  B&B Music Lessons is a friendly company and easy to work with.  Our record at the Better Business Bureau supports this claim.
